Micronora Awards: BFC Industries looks back at our Micron d'Argent

Regional business media outlet BFC Industries devotes an article to the Franche-Comté winners of the Micronora Awards, including SensiTips, which received a Micron d'Argent (Silver Micron) for its ultra-sensitive microforce sensors.

In her article "Micronora Awards : les Francs-Comtois Demgy et SensiTips récompensés" (Micronora Awards: Franche-Comté companies Demgy and SensiTips honoured), published on 15 October 2026, Tiphaine Ruppert-Abbadi looks back for BFC Industries at the regional companies recognised at the Micronora trade show in Besançon.

SensiTips is presented as a start-up spun out of the AS2M department of the FEMTO-ST institute, awarded a Micron d'Argent (Silver Micron) in the "Microtechnical components and sub-assemblies" category. The article describes our ultra-sensitive sensors, which can measure forces from 20 µN to 2 N with a resolution down to the nanonewton, and their applications: micromanipulation, materials characterization, microsystems and life sciences.

It also points out that the manufacturing of the pre-series relied on the MIMENTO platform and on regional subcontractors for electronic assembly, with the key know-how kept in-house. And it recalls our ambition: to officially launch the company in early 2027 and to develop a complete measurement system.

"We are capitalising on 20 years of laboratory experience," Valentin Reynaud explains in the article.

Congratulations to Demgy Frasne, Micron d'Or (Gold Micron) in the same category, and thank you to BFC Industries for this article.
